Burning SuperLink (I.B.S) Technology
An innovation technology which develops by superior Gigabyte's
engineer, this technology prevents errors from occurring when
data flow to the drive is interrupted during the recording process
due to slow source-drive performance, PC configuration problems,
or when running other applications.
The main reason burning a coaster disc is caused by recording
speed faster than data flow, and also influence by poor quality
media or system resources will let buffer under run happened.
In the past, to avoid shortage of system resource, the only
way to avert buffer under run , you are not allow to process
any program while your are recording the data. But from now
on, the drives which feature with I.B.S (Intelligent Burning
SuperLink) technology can make recording process as ¡§background

The data on CD or DVD Rewriter¡¦s buffer is come from computer
or disc, therefore, while recording in process, the data in
Buffer memory can not be empty, if buffer¡¦s data empty, it will
cause buffer under run happened, at the meanwhile burning process
will be interrupt and coaster will be generated.

I.B.S technology is the technique definitely
solve under buffer run issue, only need 2MB buffer memory let
this miracle happen. From the technical side, I.B.S reduce the
gap of pitch into 10£gm, in the other hand, it can be process
stable under same IDE cable.

cognition. There are many type of CD or DVD rewriter in the
market with 4MB or even 8MB buffer memory, it really can provided
large buffer space for the data, but is that mean, if their
