Will the data be kept when AC power off? PC shutdown? Memory is removed?
PC Shutdown: YES! i-RAM will be charged from motherboard after PC shutdown as long as AC power on.
AC Power off / i-RAM removed from PCI slot: YES, but only last for a period. Because of the backup battery on i-RAM, the data in the memory will be kept for a period (based on how much power left in the battery) after AC power off or i-RAM is removed from PCI slot.
Memory removed: NO! Since memory is powered on when installed on i-RAM memory socket, removed the memory from i-RAM socket will cause data loss.
