How to upgrade the firmware for the GIGABYTE DVD Dual GO-W0404A?
Windows edition:
1. Unpack the file to the one folder and execute ''GO_FLIDR1004.EXE'' file.
2. Make sure the Target Drive on the window is DVD DUALGO-W0404A and Source as DUALV043.HEX.
3. Click ''Upgrade'' button.
4. Please make sure the power is always on during firmware upgrade process and don't touch anything until the program has told you the upgrade process is finish.
5. Please wait for another 15 seconds then reboot the system.
DOS edition:
1. Unpack the file ''firmware_gow0404a_0043_dos.zip'' that you download from GIGABYTE website to the one folder. (with FAT32 format)
2. Boots up your system to DOS mode, execute the F.BAT with the correct parameter:
a.. Execute ''F3'' if you connected the GO-W0404A to Secondary IDE channel Master,
b.. Execute ''F4'' if connected the GO-W0404A to Secondary IDE channel Slaver.
3. Please make sure the power is always on during firmware upgrade process and don't touch anything until the program has told you the upgrade process is finish.
